Ellis is a custom spun and Megs & Co exclusive yarn.

It is a versatile lace weight yarn, spun with a balanced blend of domestically produced Rambouillet and Finnish Landrace wool that together create a truly luxurious yarn with just a touch of rustic charm.

This 2 ply yarn is slightly heavier than a typical lace weight yarn and works well on a variety of needle sizes and in a wide array of projects to create a remarkable fabric that is ultra-soft with a lofty bounce.

The wool was produced by two small farms in New York state, the fiber was spun at Battenkill Fiber Mill in Greenwich, NY and the yarn was hand dyed by me in Fairport, NY.
