Carrots, need I say more about this vibrant colorway? Carrots is a rich orange tonal colorway that in my opinion is just perfection. Well balanced, not too brassy, and just a little sassy. Hand dyed on Ellis, a heavy laceweight yarn spun from New York State produced Wool.

Light Fingering / Lace Weight
80% Rambouillet Wool 20% Finn Wool
600 Yards / 95 gram
Ellis is versatile lace weight yarn, spun with a balanced blend of domestically produced Rambouillet and Finn wool that together create a truly luxurious yarn with just a touch of rustic. This 2 ply yarn is slightly heavier than a typical lace weight yarn and works well on a variety of needle sizes and in a wide array of projects to create a remarkable fabric that is ultra-soft with a lofty bounce.
From sheep to skein, this yarn is 100% made in New York State. The wool was produced by small farms in New York state, the fiber was spun at Battenkill Fiber Mill in Greenwich, NY and the yarn was hand dyed by me in Fairport, NY.
