Highland Park on Soft Sock
COLORWAY
Highland Park features variegated shades of lilac blue and purple paired with vibrant pink, magenta, plum, and bright green speckles.
This floral colorway was named after one of my favorite places in Rochester, NY. Highland Park is home to an incredible collection of gardens including the largest lilac grove in the Unites States and host of the annual Lilac Festival in May, the park is a must see destination!
1 of 5 colorways in the Rochester Lilac Festival Color Fade Collection.
THE YARN
Soft Sock
Fingering / Sock Weight
85% Superfine SW Merino Wool / 15% Nylon
Full size skein ~438 yards / 100 grams
Mini skeins ~89 yards / 20 grams each
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Hand wash gently in cool water using a wool safe detergent such as Eucalan. Lay flat to dry. It is normal for some color to bleed from hand dyed yarns when washed for the first time; cold water will help to prevent bleeding.
Each skein will vary in saturation and speckling, even if they are from the same dye batch, always rotate your skeins every few rows for a seamless blend of color.
